The following mural artist has actually became renowned outside Indonesia since 2015, when she was traveling to Hanoi, Vietnam. The hostel in which Cherry Virginia Chandra, her full name, stayed in was looking for a muralist, going over her gut, she decided to dive in. And everything falls perfectly into order ever since.
From Hanoi, she was called to do another mural in Ha Long Bay, and then in Thailand, Shanghai, and Hong Kong. Of course her name was overheard in our country, her success became a talk between the art enthusiasts. And sure enough, this famous artist is also a part of Artotel Art Week series in last November. Known by her distinct style of using zentangle pattern, black and white ink style, Cherry confessed that she’s mostly inspired by Iain MacArthur, a British-based artist/illustrator. And The F Thing’s muse Denissa Hady was chose to stylishly worn her work of art during the event.
