5 Reasons You Shouldn’t Go Back to Your Ex
After a break-up there’s always an irresistible temptation to go back to your ex, especially when you haven’t moved on completely.
There are times when you choose to forget the bad habits that your ex has, forget the reasons why your relationship fell apart and eventually considering to give your ex another chance. If you happen to be having this thought, we have 5 reasons why you shouldn’t even try going back to your past lover;
You broke up for a reason.
Try to remind yourself with the reasons you guys broke up in the first place and why it didn’t work out in the past.
You’re just feeling lonely.
After being in a relationship and single sure does have a gap feeling in between which make you feel lonely. To fill the gap try to talk to your friends or you can find some new hobbies to do.
You don’t actually miss your past lover.
There are times when you reminded of the things you both used to do together, however the one that you miss is actually not your ex, but the moment. So, keep your “I miss you” text unsent.
Time just heals.
Time might have healed you, but it can’t rewrite the history that you both had.
You will repeat the past.
Doing the same thing over and over by expecting a different result is the definition of insanity—meaning if the ex’s has hurt you in the past and there’s no guarantee she/he won’t be doing the same thing.
You’ve already survived.
When you broke up, you feel like your life is over but it’s actually not, you don’t want to go back to your long-healing process just with a mere hope that your ex has changed.
