Supported by BEKRAF (Indonesian Agency for Creative Economy) and the Ministry of Tourism of The Republic of Indonesia, PHM Hospitality successfully held the First International Art Sketch Event in Bali, Indonesia.
Indonesia’s hospitality management, PHM Hospitality held the remarkable agenda for three days from March 1st to 3rd with approximately 700 participants, called 101 Travel Sketch Bali International Edition. The event is held to support unity in art, to create a strong bonding between the communities, and to raise awareness on the beauty of what each designated city can offer.
“We believe original events like 101 Travel Sketch should be supported. Therefore it is with much enthusiasm, that we would like to support this event as an annual event in Bali.” Stated by Bali’s Vice Governor, Dra. Dewa Ayu Laksmiadi at the grand dinner event by PHM Hospitality at Puri Lukisan Ubud.
On the last day of the event that was held at the Majestic Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, 101 Travel Sketch managed to collect IDR 19 million to be donated to Smile Train Indonesia, an organization for helping children with cleft lip and palate across Indonesia. The donation was then received by Ruth Monalisa—the Program Director of Smile Train Indonesia.
As for the next 101 Travel Sketch, it is planned to be held in Palembang in mid 2019. The inspiring 101 Travel Sketch had previously came to some cities before arriving in Bali as the first international Travel Sketch event. It was earlier held in Bogor, Yogyakarta, Bandung, Malang and Jakarta.
