Project F is The F Thing’s latest fashion-beauty-grooming collaboration involving 6 different multifaceted talents individuals from various backgrounds: sports, music, and fashion. Aero is definitely one of them.
Being a top racer is part of his routine, but that’s not all. Aero Aswar, the World Jetski champion has a list to look after for the healthy mind and body. He first competed in 2008’s Asian Beach Games in Bali, second competition earned him a gold medal at the 2nd Asian Beach Games 2010 in Muscat, Oman – making him the youngest athlete who ever won in the competition. Four years after, Aero got his two US National Champion Title for Pro Runabout Open and Stock Categories, World Title at the IJSBA World Finals in Pro Runabout Stock, and his second Gold Medal at the 4th Asian Beach Games held in Phuket, Thailand. Aero is all about the epitome of working harder to be the best.
What does body positive image mean to you? What advice can you give to youngsters out there about body positivity?
“A positive body image for me is about being healthy, but it depends on your body, too, because everyone has different physics capabilities. People are divided by certain body type with different DNA, bone structure and all that, that’s why people have their own way to stay fit. Work out is ultimately important, for me personally, I work out for at least three times a week, because working out creates a positive mindset and it will thrive you to be a better you.”
Thoughts on Project F and its vision and mission?
“Project F is a very good project because it allows people to be aware of local brands, and for local brands to have their own spotlights. It lets people know that you don’t have to be wrapped in all the designers’ stuff from head to toe just to look cool, in fact, local brands make cool stuff, too.”
To Aero, fashion is…
“For me, fashion is you. I believe fashion shows who you are. You are what you show, and fashion is a way to do it.”
Rocking signature style of yours means…
“My style is more casual and sporty, I like to wear something that is comfortable, like shorts and t-shirts, anything sporty. And my fashion essentials are accessories, like necklace or bracelets.”
What’s your personal fave F word?
“Food and fitness, because they correlate to one another. To stay fit and in shape, you have to pay attention to what you consume. To have a healthy mind and body, you have to pay 60% attention of what you eat, and 40% on exercise.”
