Ariana Grande claims the fashion retailer, Forever21 has done plagiarism to their recently released collection.
Forever21 has recently launched their recent collection that may look way too familiar with Ari’s single 7 Rings’ costumes concept. The singer then sued the brand for at least $10m in damages for their collection that alleged similarity with her music video’s concept. However, Forever21 stated that they asked Ari to partner up with the brand in 2018, though it is said the offer was indeed declined. It claims that Forever 21 was looking to boost its fortunes as the company prepares for a potential bankruptcy filing.
“We hope to find good solutions that can be mutually agreed upon. So that they can continue to work together in the future,” said Forever21 as quoted from Okezone.
