Bastian Steel for Project F

One of the things that held people back from pursuing their dreams is the lack of self-confidence that they need to overcome. If you have built your confidence on how you see yourself, eventually you’ll start to feel like a winner, too. You should dress how you feel best.

Bastian Steel stands for this statement in life. He confessed that being confident and believing in himself has helped him to pursue his dreams and that what made him stay in the entertainment industry for 10 years.

What is fashion to you?

“Fashion is a platform where I can express on how I want to appear in front of others. How you style yourself is really important because it shows how you live your life.”

But what is Bastian’s personal style?
“I’m very moody when it comes to what I wear and styling them. I don’t really care how I mix and match my outfit, I just go with my flow and be confident about what I wear. Say if I have to go to a casual event, I would still wear a suit if I feel like I want to. I just have to be confident in anything I wear.”
What are your fashion Do’s and the Don’t’s?

“I don’t’ really have a set rules on how the way I style myself, but I do only have one tips that I can share: you have to be confident. As long as you’re confident, no matter how you look, you will still at least be presentable in others’ eyes.”

Are there any role models that you look up to? Who and why?
“Of course! I love Chris Brown’s style. Everything he wears always looks good and decent. He has this cool kind of vibe and flow whenever he performs.”
What drove you to be where you are right now?

“I have been raised in an all-musician family. So growing up, I’ve always wanted to have a career in the music industry, and so I dove into that. Recently, I got an offer to act for movies, and I’m currently exploring it.”

How do you make your 5 years goals come true?
“I just believe in it. Believe in everything that I want to achieve and believe that I am able to pursue it eventually. You gotta believe in the process and in yourself.”
Your greatest struggle that you’ve experienced so far? Does it affect your career?
“I’m grateful to have my family by my side. I didn’t listen to my parents one time and from then on it taught me to be more empathize about others’ feelings.”
What’s your best advice for youngsters out there?

“Keep praying and keep trying, I heard that from my dad. And more importantly, believe in yourself. I have been in this industry for 10 years, I always believe in what I tell myself to. As long as you believe what your mind tells you, it will happen eventually.”
