BTS is Ready to Take Over 2020 with MOTS: 7

The super-mega kpop group, BTS is ready to take over 2020 with their latest album Map of The Soul: 7 (MOTS: 7).

Officially releasing their most awaited album, Map of The Soul: 7 on February 21, BTS is ready to take over 2020. After collaborating with Halsey for their previous track, Boys With Luv, this time BTS takes Sia to work with them for the main title, ‘ON.’ Aside from the title track, Map of The Soul: 7 features other 15 unheard new songs, such as “Black Swan,” “My Time, “Louder Than Bombs,” and “We Are Bulletproof: the Eternal.” To tease the fans about the album, BTS released “Black Swan” ahead of the other tracks on January 17 on every music streaming platform and eventually got the fans to hit the pre-order record sales with 3.42 million pre-ordered albums.
On the album release day, BTS brought the album to US television shows, such as Today show, MTV’s Fresh Out, Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon, and The Late Late Show with James Corden. Starting from their debut performance of “Black Swan” on The Late Late Show with James Corden on January 28, BTS dropped their biggest bomb yet by taking over the Grand Central New York for their performance of ‘ON’ on The Tonight’s Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Their 6 minutes performance at the most hectic place in New York was only six minutes long, but it took almost two months and a top coordinative teamwork to arrange BTS and 180 crew to enter the place and keeps it secretive.
BTS also got to be featured in the most requested video segment by James Corden, the Carpool Karaoke. Squeezed in a minibus car driven by James Corden, the 7 members of BTS; RM, Jin, Suga, JHope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook were not only singing along to their group’s songs, ‘Mic Drop,’ ‘Black Swan’ and ‘ON’, but also to Bruno Mars’ ‘Finesse’ and Post Malone’s ‘Circles.’
As the group is now back in Seoul, they’re already preparing for their comeback performances in Korea and soon will be greeting their fans from across the globe through Map of The Soul Tour.
