The boss of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, revealed that Marvel would reboot the X-Men and Fantastic Four movies for the MCU. The two franchises were originally Marvel properties under Fox license. Since Fox’s acquisition of Disney was completed, the two properties returned to the arms of Marvel Studios.
Apart from X-Men and Fantastic Four, another property that used to be on Fox and now on Marvel is Deadpool. However, Deadpool was not mentioned at all in Kevin’s appearance on the panel. This certainly makes fans who have been waiting for news about Deadpool 3 disappointed.
However, Deadpool ‘s star Ryan Reynolds seems to be able to reduce such disappointment. Through an upload on Instagram, Ryan seems to mention that Deadpool will enter Phase 5 of MCU.
Quoted from ComicBook.com, so far, the projects for Phase 4 MCU are Black Widow, The Eternals, Shang-Chi and The Legend of Ten Rings, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, and Thor: Love and Thunder. At Disney +, there are the series The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, What If … and Hawkeye. There were 10 in total and Kevin said there were 11 Marvel projects in Phase 4.
