Dior Postpones Cruise Show Amid Pandemic Concern

The long-awaited cruise show by the french luxury brand, Dior has officially been postponed due the current pandemic issue.

Dior has originally issued the show to take place on May 9th, in Lecce, Italy, however as the country has been going through a lockdown caused by the corona outbreak, the show must be adjourned in the next few months.
Exclusively through WWD, the House of Dior stated that they have decided to postpone its cruise show in order to ensure the safety of all passengers, including the employees, collaborators, and guests. As for the new date, it will soon be updated to public and as for the place, it is scheduled to still take place in Lecce, in the southern Puglia region.
This is not the first time the high-end brands have delayed or even canceled their shows. Hermès, Gucci, Versace, and more have previously shut down their shows, along with the cancellation of Tokyo Fashion Week, and the delay of Shanghai and Beijing Fashion Week.
