Dipha Barus ft. Monica Karina – You Move Me

Through over a decade of experience in the Indonesian music industry, Dipha Barus has established himself as the new musical a phenomenon with a brand that is always relevant, interlocking upbeat and inspiring music with essential elements of traditional Indonesian music and current groove. Dipha’s certain approach to music has made him one of the most sought after DJs/Producers worldwide.

Today, Dipha makes his first international debut on Ultra Records with “You Move Me” Feat. Monica Karina. Having worked together since 2018, “You Move Me” is the pairs third collaboration. Before this, the Dipha and Monica released Money Honey (Count Me In), a blend of Pop/R&B jams filled with Gospel vibes and Indonesian traditional instruments of Rindik Bali ambiance, as well as “Skin to Skin”, with Dipha as the main producer.
“In order to be in love and at peace with our surroundings, we should first be in love and at peace with ourselves. That is why “You Move Me” is the anthem we can sing to all those we love, to what we believe in, and most importantly to our very own selves,” shares Monica when speaking on the new record.

Groovy from the get-go the pair once again fuse together a dynamic blend of world music with everything from Baile, Afro, Soul, R&B to Gospel, and mixed effortlessly with Dipha’s roots of traditional Indonesian instruments.
In a more subtle fashion Dipha intentionally puts a sound healing frequency on the song with hopes that it could work as a healing instrument. “’You Move Me’ is one of my favorite songs, as it really shows my personal side about what inspires me. Through my music, I try to give back all the good vibrations I get, within this song. Hopefully, this song can also move your beautiful soul,” says Dipha.
