Fashion Nation by Urban Sneaker Society is a Huge Success

One of the biggest media and event sneakers in Indonesia, the Urban Sneaker Society successfully brought the streetwear through three different eras at the Fashion Nation event presented by Senayan City.

The first fashion show from Urban Sneaker Society carries the big theme called  ‘The Better Past’. This theme was appointed to highlight the link between popular culture and streetwear styles that existed in previous eras. The three eras that were featured in the fashion show last night also took different themes, with the 70s era carrying the theme of The Rise of Anarchy, the 80s era taking the theme of Retrowave, and the 90s era with the theme Nostalgia. In addition to the varied themes, each sequence is also represented by a different brand and muse. Project Manager of this fashion show, Monica Esther admitted that the concept of the three eras was carried out, because her team believed that streetwear was something that could not be separated from the popular culture of an era.
Presenting many local brands to the runway, Sayed Muhammad as CEO of the Urban Sneaker Society claimed to be enthusiastic about the quality of the products carried by these brands. Through Fashion Nation, Urban Sneaker Society wanted to emphasize that our local quality is equivalent to many other international brands. Some renowned brands were also spotted on the show, such as Converse, Puma, Cashless, Hattaco, COsmonauts, Admision, Nindito, Poison Street, and Seji.
“Through this fashion show, we hope that the visitors who attend can better appreciate the concept of streetwear in the modern era. Because believe me, in the end when this era ends, the current streetwear concept will become one of the historical mediums of this era. “
