Harry Potter’s Influences in Endgame

Coming from two completely different worlds, Harry Potter actually gives some influences on the Avenger’s latest movie, Avengers: the Endgame.

The script writers of Avengers: Endgame, Christopher Markus and Stephen McFlee revealed that the third Harry Potter film, Prisoner of Azkaban played a major role in the concept of time travel carried out by the Avengers in Endgame.
“I really like the 3rd film Harry Potter in the flower vase section that broke because of the stone. You don’t know why and the scene is okay and doesn’t shift your focus,” McFeely was quoted as saying by ComicBook.
Before taking the time travel part into the script, they watched the movie multiple times to get themselves fully inspired with the idea of time traveling. However, Markus and McFeely did not want to make the Avengers team’s time travel as easy as turning their palms. Because there were many tragedies and incidents in the time travel of the Avengers team, even Captain America met with Captain America (era 2012), something that should be avoided in the law of time travel.
Who would have thought Harry Potter could have a big influence on the Marvel series?
