Follow These Steps to Become a Morning Person

Rise and shine, night owls, it’s time for you to change your overnight sleeping time and become a morning lark.

Although changing your night routine is hard, nothing is impossible to be changed as long as you make it as a habit, as Charles Dunigg said in his book The Power of Habit:  “Change might not be fast and it’s not easy, but with time and effort, any habit can be reshaped.”
Here are some steps to change your sleeping habits:
  1. Stop snoozing your alarm
Force yourself to wake up at the same time everyday for at least three weeks and later you won’t need the alarm to wake you up anymore.
  1. Turn off your electronics at all
Removes all your gadgets from your reach, especially your phone and your laptop. Stop your activities that involved your blue rays stuff strictly before bed because having your brain accustomed to your electronics before bed will get it confused and eventually makes it harder for you to fall asleep.
  1. Don’t hold yourself
Many night owls have a tendency to brush off their tiredness to stay awake, then you should do the total opposite of it. Accept your exhaust and sleep it off.
  1. Get the sunlight as soon as you wake up
In place where it is often gray and dreary, morning sun and some fresh air are the best way to alarm your nerves and wakes you up.

  1. Morning workout
Wakes your system up with a small workout in the morning, you don’t need to go to the gym if your office starts early. Do some simple yoga and get yourself warmed up to start the day.
