Indonesia Sent the Trash Back to America

Indonesia is shocked by five containers filled with trash that were sent to our land from Seattle, United States of America–and we didn’t stay silent about it.

“The Ministry of Environment and Forestry coordinates with the Directorate General of Customs and Excise stressed the return of five containers to their home countries, the United States has to be done immediately.” explained  the Secretary of the Directorate General of Waste, Waste and Toxic and Dangerous Material of KLHK, Sayid Muhadhar. He emphasized that the containers have already been sent back on Thursday June 13th.
The waste containers were received via Tanjung Perak Port, Surabaya, East Java are filled with plastic and paper waste that should have been shipped by the importers in good shape, but it didn’t turn out as it was supposed to. “This phenomenon shows that Indonesia has to gear up more fiercely to protect our dignity and pride, and by shipping the trash back to their origin country, it shows how committed Indonesia is to protect our rights.” described Sayid again.
