JFW 2020 Presents Designs of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil Movie Characters

Disney Indonesia collaborated with Senayan City to present a fashion show inspired by the story of Maleficent: Mistress of Evil with three local designers namely Albert Yanuar, Andreas Odang, and Imelda Kartini.
The three designers interpreted the fans’ favorite stories and characters from the movie released on October 16th in a fashion show titled Saints, Evils and In Between: A Special Fashion Collaboration Inspired by Disney’s Maleficent: Mistress of Evil on the Jakarta Fashion Week (JFW) 2020 stage.
A total of 24 look were displayed by the three talented designers. Each designer displays eight looks inspired by fans’ favorite characters such as Aurora presented through beautiful dresses with a soft blend of colors designed by Albert Yanuar, Queen Inggrith presented in a row of elegant and luxurious dresses by Imelda Kartini, and Maleficent presented in all-black dress with a variety of styles typical of the iconic character designed by Andreas Odang.
All were bundled in a special fashion show that featured three guest stars, Beby Tsabina, Mikha Tambayong, and Sheryl Sheinafia as muses of each designer.
In addition to the fashion show on the JFW 2020 stage, fans can also watch an exhibition of six works of art from seven local artists who adorn the special area Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, located in the North Lobby, Senayan City Ground Floor. From 10th of October to 3rd of November 2019, special installations from collaboration with Anis Kurniasih, Aurora Santika, Dian Suci Rahmawati, Nus Salomo, Han Chandra, Atreyu Moniaga and Robby Garsia from the Atreyu Moniaga Project (AMP) can be enjoyed by fans along with several fans Another interesting installation that was also inspired by the iconic story.
