The year 2018 seems to be Katy Perry’s year! Check out what Forbes has to say about her ‘fatty’ bank account.
The Forbes’ annual list has been unleashed, and this year Katy Perry is named as the highest-paid female singer of the year. Counted from June 2017 to June 2018, she recorded a whooping number of income: US$83 million.
Most of those come from the 80 performances during her Witness: The Tour around the world. The 34-year-old singer has gained net profit of US$28,1 million from Witness: The Tour in 2017 and US$48,8 million from Witness: The Tour in 2018.
Other project that contributed to her bank account would be her judging part on ABC’s American Idol, in which she received US$20 million. And FYI, she received the same title the year 2015, so it’s nothing new to the successful singer. Second on the throne is Taylor Swift, who gained US$80 million (let’s hope it’s not the start of another drama between them!)
