Peak into the fashion trend in 2020 through Jakarta Fashion Week as it is now opened at Senayan City shopping mall, Central Jakarta.
Entitled as the largest fashion event in Southeast Asia, Jakarta Fashion Week is coming stronger than ever. Being held from Oct 22 to 28, JFW showcased more than 2,800 fashion pieces from the 2020 Summer-Spring Collections from 270 local and international brands that are all wrapped in 76 runway shows, including pieces from some renowned designers such as: Sejauh Mata Memandang, Natalia Kiantoro, Oscar Lawalata, Novita Yunus, Jenahara, Bateeq, Danjyo Hiyoji, Albert Yanuar, and many more.
Svida Alisjahbana, the Chairwoman of JFW who also GCM Group CEO believes that the growth of JFW that is firstly launched back in 2008 shows the strong regeneration of the young designers, providing them with a platform to showcase their talents.
In addition to the annual event, JFW also presented more than 100 fashion labels, accessories, lifestyle and f&b that are participated in the Fashionlink Showroom & Market, held on October 22-26 at The Hall, 8th floor, Senayan City shopping mall. There will be number of activities around the area, such as talk shows with speakers from various fields and some food trucks ready to serve you.

The theme of the talkshow is “Story of Second Chances” which aims to increase public awareness of the contribution of waste clothing in the surrounding environment. By launching a new project called Tinkerjoy, a portal that offers clothes rental services and accompanied by a professional stylist will help buyers to match clothes from top to bottom. #JFW2020 #JakartaFashionWeek #WeAreJFW
