Only for 4 days, LEÓN hosted a preview luncheon accompanied by selected courses from their own professional chefs in conjunction with the launching of their new lunch menu.
Happening from July 8th to 11th and only for 11:30pm to 2:00pm lunch time, LEÓN served their visitors with their new menu which is divided into the appetizer course, main course, and desserts. On those 4 days, visitors were expected to post their best captures of their ordered menu or the restaurant to their Instagram accounts with the hashtag #LUNCHATLEON to win a free champagne lunch for two in the restaurant itself.
The appetizer that was served include beef skewers, beef ox-tongue, and a normal sized salad. As for the main course, LEÓN came with 3 different menus which are Short Ribs on Lime Rice, which comes with scrambled egg and sambal matah that adds a traditional flavor into the dish, Lemongrass Barramundi with rice and cucumber salsa, Shrimps Spaghetti, and last but not least, our personal favorite, the Grilled Chicken Tikka Masala that comes with cheese nam, mango, and chilli chutney, which makes the dish rich in taste.
Not to leave out the desserts, LEÓN brings out the tastiest chocolate sweet course which is Chocolate Piña Colada that combines sweet and sour-ish flavor from the chocolate and the fruits.
LEÓN, the middle-to-high society restaurant which located at the same building with Twenty Fifth Coffee in Wijaya Street, South Jakarta, offered a sophisticated space for drinking and dining, with the interior design which reminiscent of busy work day lunches in New York surrounded by good food, good friends, and comfy leather couches perfect for lunch, catching up with friends, or getting wild with some cocktails in your hand.
