This month, the fashion icon came to Indonesia—to attend the grand opening retail store in Senayan City—Masarishop. Coming in Acler ready-to-wear blouse and Simon Miller handbag, Nicole’s attendance had been anticipated by many Indonesian fashion enthusiasts. There were so many fans of hers who came and lining up to take pictures with her, even she was surprised by the warm welcome that she received in the city.
Best known as Gary Pepper Girl, Nicole Warne is not your usual fashion icon, but also a digital influencer with over one million followers on Instagram. Starting her career as a fashion blogger and opened a small store on e-bay, the name Gary Pepper Girl is bloomed among the fashion enthusiasts.

The business that she established with only three employees in the beginning actually brought her 60k followers in one year on Facebook—which led her to open her own e-commerce in 2011. Fast forward to today, her business has become the biggest vintage retailers in Australia. The fruits that she’s getting through her hard works also drew the attention towards her as someone with a great sense of fashion and an astonishing business skill—Nicole was invited as a creative director, social media consultant, brand consultant, and digital strategist to many premium brands. Chanel, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, are just some of her clients.
