After getting the honorable award, Mövenpick Resorts & Spa pledged to become one of the largest hotel groups. Green Globe™ certification not only grants them the award but also accommodates the rewarding organizations to improve their economic, social and environmental sustainability.
Basically the Green Globe™ standard dispatches hotel and resort organizations to see if their performance increasing or not in terms of environmental aspects to see if the reward is deserving to achieve. After Mövenpick Resorts & Spa shared that they have successfully reached an 89% compliance level to receive Green Globe™ Certification since they have been evaluated by Green Globe™ in terms of social, economic, environmental and cultural heritage management and successfully rewarded with the certification. It is also noted that Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali is one of only several hotel and resort brands in Indonesia to achieve recognition performance that is permissible for business ethics.
Mövenpick stated that they are delighted with their first Green Globe™ certification and hoping it will be the start for more similar accreditations. They are blissful since the achievement is such an exceptional one for their team members and they’re only in their second year. They also claimed that they are devoted to contribute more to be the top tourism hotel in Bali and attract more tourists. This certification acknowledges Mövenpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bali’s effort to protect the environment, collaborate with the local community and foster the growth of a stable tourism business.
