MUJI is Expanding Their Aesthetic into Hotel

MUJI, a well-known Japanese brand, has opened its first hotel in Japan Thursday, 4 April. And this will be the 3rd branch as the other two being in China.

With total 79 rooms, it’s organized into 9 categories and varies in size. Options are single room with 14-15 square meters to 2-people rooms with approximately 52 square meters. The price ranges between ¥27900 to ¥35900. Not to mention you can also add a Japanese-style buffet breakfast for ¥1800.

MUJI is known for it’s minimalist style and in this hotel translates it perfectly. The interior itself will be focuses on wood, stone and earth featuring many of their own products from the stores.

This anti-gorgeous, anti-cheap hotel will be located above MUJI flagship store in Ginza. It will occupy 7 out of 10 floors of the building including hotel lobby, restaurant and the atelier.
