The first look of the upcoming remake of Mulan is finally here, and the fans are more than happy with the first trailer.
Stunned by the visual of the trailer, the fans are also in awed for Liu Yifei’s sword-fighting skills, the Chinese-American who will be portraying the young courageous teenager, Mulan. The movie that is first brought to screen in 1998, Mulan Live Action will be taking a different approach than the animated one, instead they will be taking more influences from the original 6th Century poem “The Ballad of Mulan.” As that being said, there will be no singing scenes and sadly, no Mushu on the movie as well.
Directed by New Zealander, Niki Caro, Mulan Live Action is said to be taking more than $100m for the movie to be made alive. In addition, some A-list Asian actors are also taking part in the movie, such as Donnie Yen, Gong Li, and Jet Li. Mulan Live Action will be released on your theater by March 27th 2020.
