The 2000’s pop-punk icon, My Chemical Romance arose from the long hiatus and gather their diehard fans once again with a reunion concert.
After teasing the fans with a sudden social media’s revamped with some new images, the band that is consisted of the Way brothers, Gerard and Mikey Way, Ray Toro, and Frank Iero are officially answering the reunion demands from the fans with a concert on December 20 at Los Angeles’s Shrine Expo Hall. And the fans can already hunt the tickets as they are already up for sale on Friday November 1 on AXS.com
My Chemical Romance or MCR has pronounced the band’s broke up news back in 2013, three years after their latest album, Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killijoys. The band then focused on each personnel’s activities with their own solo releases, as Mikey joined another band, Frank and Ray released their own solos, and Gerard with his Netflix-adapted comic series, The Umbrella Academy.
Further information regarding the band’s next activities are still not cleared but we shall soon see because, quoting from Gerard’s last statement, “My Chemical Romance is done. But it can never die. It is alive in me, in the guys, and it is alive inside all of you. I always knew that, and I think you did too. Because it is not a band — it is an idea.”
