Netflix Loses $17 Billion in One Day

The streaming giant suffered a significant loss to it’s US subscriber base first time in 8 years.

Netflix actually gain 300.000 during the second quarter of 2019 but lost 130.000 subscribers instead. This took on their stock market too by 10 percent. This huge losing seem to be caused by Netflix’s latest price hikes. Despite all the gloom, Netflix still seems confident that things will improve. They expect to see US growth this summer with series returning such as Stranger Things, 13 Reasons Why and Money Heist which are audience favorite.
The streaming services expect to gain 800.000 U.S subscribers this summer and 7 million more overall.
