There is a new and hip eatery located at the heart of iNews Tower within the MNC complex. Nestled comfortably in the lobby level of the building is Woolloomooloo Coffee Trade Co. The brand new eatery officially served to satisfy gastro aficionados in March and has been consistently delivering a new range of dishes and drinks.
Woolloomooloo is a region in Sydney, Australia, the word itself is taken from Aboriginal words which means ‘young black kangaroo’. The owners, which are Valencia Tanoesoedibjo, Gavin Bunyanto, Lysia Jessica, and Chris Roesli, wanted to bring an authentic Sydneysider vibe to the office environment, down to the last details of the Aborigin décor. The overall ambiance is filled with wood accents with cozy hues of black and brown, and a hint of orange tone here and there. The place is divided into two spots: non-smoking and smoking area.
The Oz vibe for serving good coffee is also applied in Woollomooloo with its Mooloo coffee. The beans are selected meticulously and brewed best on personal preference, all the more reason to appreciate the growing coffee culture trend in Jakarta. Furthermore, Mooloo coffee honors the heap amount of Indonesian coffee beans, including the finest ones from Aceh, Toraja, and Bali –which makes a perfect houseblend named Archipelago. Its latte and cappucino are the guest’s fave. To better facilitate patrons, the coffees are available to order via Go-Food!
From brunch, lunch to dinner time, Woolloomooloo serves delectable options for you to choose. We recommend Ox-tongue Cabai Hijau and Oxtail Fried Rice if you’re gearing up for a full kind of meal. For pie lovers, the eatery provides Oozie Meat Pie. The tenderness of its wagyu meat is as delicious as its gravy sauce. For light bites, why not try their Salmon Cakes or take it to another level with their Miso Glazed Grilled Salmon. Closing it with desserts, don’t forget to try the G’day, Bananas! and Stupid Cupid.
