Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris Goes up in Flame the Same Time Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque Burns
Notre Dame Cathedral is known to be one of the most well-kept cathedrals that holds many ancient Christian relics – including the Rose Windows of Notre Dame, Crown of Thorns and many more.
It is stated that the Rose Window and Crown of Thorns are safe but the fate of other treasures are unknown. Big names all over the world such as LVMH , Apple and many more are donating loads of money to restore the 856-year-old Cathedral.
On the other side of the world, Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam and central to the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict are strangely also caught up in flames but somehow the news got overshadowed by the Notre Dame incident. There was no evidence of any link between the two incidents.
The fire at Notre Dame is largely assumed to be caused by the renovation that is undergoing at the Cathedral and for Al-Aqsa Mosque, it’s said that the fire broke out in the courtyard and preliminary information suggested that it may have been caused by children tampering in the area.
Both incidents are truly a great loss for this world in the matters of history and art. Our hearts and prayers go all the way to Paris and Jerusalem.
