Tarantino just told GQ Australia recently that, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood might be his final movie.
He has always stated that he will quit making movies after his 10th film but it seems that he might fast forward the goalposts. The upcoming hit featuring Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio is his 9th movie and he says,
“If [Once Upon a Time is] really well received, maybe I won’t go to 10. Maybe I’ll stop right now! Maybe I’ll stop while I’m ahead. We’ll see.”
He then added , “ I think when it comes to theatrical movie, I’ve come to the end of the road. I see myself writing film books and starting to write theater, so I’ll still be creative. I just think I’ve given all I have to give to movies.”
If Tarantino decided to stop on Once Upon A Time in Hollywood then, that will have repercussions for the director’s upcoming Star Trek movie.
