ONE STREET FESTIVAL – The Biggest Indonesian Street Culture Movement
Sunday afternoon, the excitement of b-boy in action for dance battles, has become one of the most show-stealing actions in One Street Festival, which was held at Kalijodo Park, North Jakarta.
The show that has already been held previously in Yogyakarta, has now added the skateboarding competition. This event was held to provide support to the incumbent presidential candidate Joko Widodo, as during his period of service, he’s known to have appreciated many art workers and athletes. The event was made to honor his views and how he values art.
One Street Festival in Jakarta involved many street culture elements such as skateboarding, streetball, b-boy break dance, open style battle, BMX, and also art sneakers exhibition that is included in mural activities. This movement arises from young street culture activists on the basis of our concern that the Indonesian must always be united for the better.
