Premiered in Indonesia, Here’s a List of Facts about Gemini Man

The latest action movie has making its return to Indonesia’s cinema. After Rambo: Last Blood and War, now it’s Gemini Man’s turn to spoil cinema-goers, especially those of you who like Will Smith’s action films or acting.

The reason, Gemini Man is a combination of both. Directed by Ang Lee and written by David Benioff, Billy Ray, and Darren Lemke, this thriller action starring the actor of The Genie.
Although it has just premiered, Gemini Man raises a different review from film critics and entertainment media. Some consider the execution less, too ordinary, but there are also those who are entertained and tense while watching Gemini Man.

Accumulated Since 1997
Appearing as a new movie, apparently Gemini Man has been accumulated since 1997 which means this manuscript then developed for more than 20 years. Some directors, such as Tony Scott, Curtis Hanson, and Joe Carnahan, were initially said to be involved at several points including a number of actors such as Harrison Ford, Mel Gibson, Clint Eastwood, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Sean Connery.
However in October 2017, Ang Lee signed a contract to direct this movie with Paramount as the party that handles distribution rights.
Plot
As per the movie’s title, Gemini Man tells the story of Henry Brogan (Will Smith), a government assassin agent who is getting old and looking for a way out of his career.
But apparently, he was hunted by his younger clone. The clone is named Junior (young Will Smith) who is able to balance out all Henry’s movements. In this film Henry must try to find out the origin of Junior.
Embedding Technology for Two Will Smiths
For the sake of creating two different characters, namely Henry Brogan and Junior, Gemini Man uses Human Face Project technology, to create visual effects that will involve making CG clones that make the actor younger than the main actor.
The Movie Stars
In addition to Will Smith, the movie also stars Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen and Benedict Wong.
Negative and Positive Reviews for Visuals
Gemini Man received negative reviews from critics, but was praised for its visual effects. According to the review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, this film has a percentage of 31 percent based on 82 reviews with an average rating of 4.65 / 10.
