The latest action movie has making its return to Indonesia’s cinema. After Rambo: Last Blood and War, now it’s Gemini Man’s turn to spoil cinema-goers, especially those of you who like Will Smith’s action films or acting.
The reason, Gemini Man is a combination of both. Directed by Ang Lee and written by David Benioff, Billy Ray, and Darren Lemke, this thriller action starring the actor of The Genie.
Although it has just premiered, Gemini Man raises a different review from film critics and entertainment media. Some consider the execution less, too ordinary, but there are also those who are entertained and tense while watching Gemini Man.
Here is the list of facts about the movie:
Accumulated Since 1997
Appearing as a new movie, apparently Gemini Man has been accumulated since 1997 which means this manuscript then developed for more than 20 years. However in October 2017, Ang Lee signed a contract to direct this movie with Paramount as the party that handles distribution rights.
As per the movie’s title, Gemini Man tells the story of Henry Brogan (Will Smith), a government assassin agent who is getting old and looking for a way out of his career.
But apparently, he was hunted by his younger clone. The clone is named Junior (young Will Smith) who is able to balance out all Henry’s movements. In this film Henry must try to find out the origin of Junior.
Embedding Technology for Two Will Smiths
For the sake of creating two different characters, namely Henry Brogan and Junior, Gemini Man uses Human Face Project technology, to create visual effects that will involve making CG clones that make the actor younger than the main actor.
