Released For a Week in North America, Frozen 2 Has Successfully Topped the Box Office

Disney’s latest animated movie Frozen 2 is in the spotlight.
The movie is predicted to top the box office ladder with a profit of 124 million US dollars on screenings this weekend from 4,440 theatres in North America. Estimated debut Frozen 2 over the weekend far above Disney’s previous predictions, which amounted to 100 million US dollars.
Reported from Variety, the second sequel of Frozen produced 41.8 million US dollars in domestic airings on Friday, November 22, 2019, and 57.8 million US dollars internationally. Previously, the first Frozen movie generated 93.6 million US dollars in domestic views and generated a total of more than 1.2 billion US dollars globally. Achievement of the second movie of the story of Elsa and Anna will make this movie as one of the second best-selling Disney animated films after the live action of The Lion King with 191.8 million US dollars in July 2019.
Frozen 2 was released six years after the first movie of Frozen was released. In this sequel, Anna (Kristen Bell), Elsa (Idina Menzel), Olaf (Josh Gad), and Kristoff (Jonathan Groff), return to explore the outside the kingdom of Arendelle to find out why Elsa was born with magical powers.
