Road to FutuRepublic: Street Culture Workshop & Vlogging 101

Last Sunday, February 17th 2019, The F Thing in partnership with Livescape held a workshop to commence the future republic event which will take place on February 23, 2019.
Inviting three speakers from different fields, the workshop got the audiences to know more about street culture and vlogging 101. The speakers for the workshop are Adrian Riyadi, the founder of Our Daily Dose, Rico Lubis the founder of Urban Inc, and Dr. Tirta the founder of Shoes and Care and Solevacation.
Talking about the growth of street culture as part of the workshop, Rico told the audience that as for now, the trend has shifted. Few years ago, people are underestimating those who are into streetwear and often criticize them; but now even the high end brands are competing to make collaboration with street brands. Adrian added that since the youth are now powering the market, the high end brands found it irrelevant for them to not opening their eyes to the streetwear that is loved by the younger generation and eventually make a trend out of it.
Another thing that is currently on trend among the younger generation is video blogging. As someone who also do video blogs, Dr. Tirta shared a long list of keys to make the creativity pops more on the video blog and what can you sell through it. To support the creativities of the younger generation, The F Thing is holding a FutuRepublic vlogging competition for anyone who will be coming this Saturday to the Futurepublic. The winner will be getting a It’s the Ship Cabin to China, Japan and Singapore for two and 5 Futurepublic VIP tickets.
