It was October 1st 2018 – one of the most prestigious hotels in Jakarta, ARTOTEL, launched its new coffee brand named Buka Mata.  Its special mixture comes in 2 options, which is House Blend “The Modernist” and Cold Brew “The Minimalist”

 

Working closely with Common Grounds Coffee Roasters in choosing the right coffee bean, they finally decided on the mixture of Toraja and Mandheling, which resulted in the balanced flavor of orange, almond and a hint of brown sugar.  The minimalist itself comes in 2 choices, Coffee Latte and Ice Black, all will be available simultaneously in every ARTOTEL property across Indonesia.

Not only tasty to the tongue, the branding concept is arranged by ARTOTEL Studio and their young artist, Ega Mawardani. She interprets The Modernist and The Minimalist as an art movement from its time with the same name. They also view coffee as a crucial part of life for the hotel’s guests and inspired to create a unique coffee experience for them.
