Stela Dwiarni’s All About Being Sassy and Classy

She may be petite, but she truly stands out from the crowd. Her laugh is contagious, as well as her free spirited vibe. Stela Dwiarni knows how to look good and stylish, because she believes that it’s one of the ways to present one’s personality. She also admits that she never follows trends.

Stela’s blog is about ‘A Journey to Self-Love’, that it encompasses the way she thinks of people; of herself, and the in-between jazz. Often she would feel insecure and the need to overcome the insecurity drove her to pour the thoughts in her blog. The girl who was born in 1997 is also currently busy being an entrepreneur, making her own creative media agency.

You’re very loud and bold, does that also reflect in how you dress up? Do you talk about fashion also in your blog?
“Yes, my blog is called ‘Sassy Goes With Classy’, I have to admit that I am pretty moody about my clothes. Sometimes I want to dress boyish, sometimes I want to be feminine, sometimes I want to be seen as elegant, it depends on my mood. But mostly I just want to be myself, I would simply wear jegging and oversize tees or sweaters with some earrings.”
Your must have item?
“Earrings. I also wear necklaces on daily basis. But for my style, personally, when I hang out with friends or meet new people, earrings are really a must have.”
What inspires your outfit changes the most?
“I look up to big brands like Chanel, Celine, Dior, and whenever they have new products—I always observe how they mix and match. Lately, I have been into Marie Kondo’s concept ‘Sparks Joy’ about decluttering and that less is more. So by referencing to that, I try to buy less clothes and recycle my used clothes so I don’t spend that much just for looks. I also adore the way Blake Lively dresses as Serena van der Woodsen in Gossip Girl, I just love all of her outfits.”
Who is your fashion icon and why?

“Ayla Dimitri, she’s very edgy. I mean, I don’t really know her, but I like how she’s being herself and I love when people dress properly and present themselves. She can pull any kind of clothes too, that’s why I admire her.”

Last, how would you want people to see you?
“I want to be remembered as someone who is sassy, but classy.”
