Tuan Tiga Belas Releases ‘Last Roar’, a Song for the Sumatran Tiger

After releasing Move as the first single of his debut album, Harimau Sumatra, Tuan Tiga Belas releases another track called, Last Roar.

Taking the view of the Sumatran Tiger, Upi made the whole song is all about the consequences of the human dirty hands to the nature, especially toward the Sumatran Tiger–the last tiger species from Indonesia.

Raja rimba lindungi tiap senti
Karena sejak dulu hutan adalah rumah kami
Lalu kau datang dengan senjata
Kau mulai tangkap kami
Kami coba ‘tuk bertahan
Tapi kalian kembali lalu bawa api
Leluhur mu janji, akan jaga kaum kami
Lalu lihat yang terjadi
Waktu kalian mulai ingkar janji”

With his heartbreaking lyrics, Upi took Alexander Sinaga to shoot the music video so aestetically that it gives the views the sense of watching a documentary movie. Through his official twitter account, Upi mentioned that all of the royalties from this single will be donated to the Sumatran Tiger and forest conservation.
