Wave of Tomorrow Returned With a New Futuristic Themed Art Festival ‘Ahead of Its Time’

Wave of Tomorrow is holding its second festival and has returned with a whole new different concept by emphasizing the transformation from the progressive journey of each creator.

Taking place at The Tribata, Dharmawangsa, Wave of Tomorrow, the largest technology-based arts festival in Indonesia with futuristic music performances, has officially been opened. As many as 14 new media works, from 13 creators from the country and internationally, ahead of its time, has successfully attracted the attention of the visitors.
Mona Liem as the art curator revealed that the selection of the 13 creators was based on their consistency of the effort they put onto the canvas in this world that keeps changing and how they are able to always explore with new media art. The creators that is involved in the festival are Rubi Roesli, Sembilan Matahari, Kinara Darma x Modulight, Maika, U Visual, Ricky Janitra, Motionbeast, Notanlab, Farhanaz Rupaidha, and also the international ones such as Nonotak, Tundra, Ouchhh, and Jakob Steensen.

The President Commissioner Level 7, the organizer of Wave of Tomorrow, Adrian Subono stated, “Starting from 20-29 December 2019, creative people can enjoy every work of art and music performance that is presented at Wave of Tomorrow. Every work and show from us is very special because it’s able to give stunning effects with intense interaction through technological games. We’re sure that Wave of Tomorrow can be the main goal of creative people in ending 2019 with inspiration and enthusiasm to always progress with their creativity.
Other than creative art works, Wave of Tomorrow also provides fantastic musical performances prepared with various elements of advanced technology. Musicians ranging from emerging artists to popular ones have been scheduled to fill Wave of Tomorrow’s stage every day. These include Haai, Kunto Aji, Eva Celia, Danilla, Elephant Kind, Sal Priadi, Petra Sihombing, Future 10, Dekandenz, Mantra Vutura, Sunmantra, Random Brothers, Enrico Octaviano, Hondo, and many more.
