Marking his 8 years as Chef de Cuisine at Scusa Trattoria, Wawan Barito created new menus of authentic Italian food. The restaurant itself is known as a famous Italian dining hotspot that is located in AYANA Midplaza Hotel. As a strategic place to spend your lunch, the venue is suitable for many occasions, including for meeting with clients or casual lunch or dinner wih your loved ones.
Scusa opens for lunch and dinner, from Monday to Saturday and delivers the best Italian dishes in town. This time around, Chef Wawan made new variation between Italian food and local food. He explained that he liked to exploring the traditional food and mashing it up with the new modern cuisine. One of the latest menus that stole many Italian food lovers’ attention was Pizza Rendang, which is a collaboration betwen an authentic Italian pizza with an original Rendang from Pariaman, West Sumatera.
Other dishes also as creative as Chef Wawan can get: Vel Tenderloin with grilled artichoke and truffle mashed potatoes; Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli with rosemarry, brown butter and parmesan; Duo Gnocchi; Ossobuco Milanese; Rolled Chicken; and the creamy Zeppole as the dessert.
