We’re All in the Endgame Now, but Who’s Missing?
Avengers: Endgame has not only hitting the theaters all over the world, but also hitting the hearts of Marvel lovers who have been waiting all their lives for the moment of truth in this movie.
If you have watched last year’s Avengers: Infinity War, you saw that Thanos had successfully wiped half of the human population and that’s including some of our beloved heroes. So therefore, Endgame’s iconic line ‘Avenge the Fallen’, means the remaining characters, which are the original superheroes, have the mission to take vengeance for those who died in the hand of Thanos. Black Panther, Spider-Man, Loki, Star-Lord, Dr. Strange, who were not used to losing a battle, now they have turned to dust. Are these superheroes whomst their performance we always have been waiting for in these Avengers sequence not returning for the next Avengers movies? What’s the project planned for these heroes in the future?
As for Spider-Man, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures have jointly announced that Peter Parker’s next solo adventure will be hitting the big screen on July 5, 2019 with the sequel Spider-Man: Far From Home. For you Loki fans, don’t count Loki out just yet. Marvel’s God of Mischief might have met his end at Thanos’ hands, but his solo television series is going full-steam ahead at Disney with a Rick & Morty writer at the helm. Some more projects that Disney has revealed regarding the fallens include “WindaVision” which is The Scarlet Witch and Vision and “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” for the project starring Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan, who are returning as Falcon and Bucky Barnes, respectively. Black Panther 2 has also teased for a release seemingly on either November 6, 2020 or February 12, 2021. Marvel wouldn’t want you longing for your favorite character’s death for a long time, would they?
